The way forward

The CIMA Qualification is made up of three levels — Operational, Management and Strategic. At each level students acquire the knowledge and competencies they will require to perform the tasks and functions at that level in an organisation.

When your students choose the CGMA Finance Leadership Program, they subscribe to an all-inclusive guided learning and assessment program. This includes learning, business simulations, exam prep courses and exams.

After completing all the exams and submitting the three years of relevant professional experience, they receive the CGMA designation.

The case study exam at the end of each level of the qualification gives students an opportunity to apply the knowledge they’ve acquired. They are given a case study in which they take on the role of a finance executive and respond to a multi-layered business challenge.

To be successful, students must:

Develop and communicate solutions and strategic direction.

The case study exam tests their ability to evaluate problems and arrive at solutions from a holistic business perspective. It also enhances their ability to research, communicate, collaborate, offer insights and act as a strategic business partner.
